 The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals  regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation and is  available for delivery in two ways.  One option is the traditional,  instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an  NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. The other option has two components: a self-study or “eLearning module” which is completed online in your own time frame and a hands-on practical portion conducted in a classroom and shooting range with an Instructor.

 Non-shooting course that teaches students the basic knowledge and skills to explain the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home.

 The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) program was developed in response to  the demand for a nationally recognized range safety officer  certification. To become a NRA Range Safety Officer, you must pass the  RSO course and demonstrate that you possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe  shooting activities and range operations. 

 The single most important step toward ensuring your own safety is  having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s  Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim. Seminars are held across the nation and are open to men and women of all ages. Today, hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officials from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives. Corporations, educational institutions and community centers have also adopted the program. All told, more than 100,000 people have benefitted from these seminars.

 Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target. 

 To provide the basic KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ATTITUDE necessary to learn pistol marksmanship using a virtual training system.
